if i had a million (or a billion) dollars

I'd buy art.
I fell in love with this piece last weekend and foolishly didn't write down the artist's name (foolishly thinking I could just look it up online when I got home... nope). There's something very reassuring about Ted Koppel and I was quite sad when he retired/was removed from Nightline.

Aha! Google is my friend: Vik Muniz is the artist. Phew.

Hi Ange! I love your Ernie of the Day photos. The one with him and the squirrel is great. Meg has just been bullying me for some different food. She has two choices in her food bowls but none of them is acceptable! She's gone out hunting for herself now, in the huff. She starts her bullying by staring me out, then she butts against me and shepherds me to her food bowl, and if that doesn't work she tries a straight on attack. Most of the time she's adorable though and very cuddly and sweet.
What are you knitting? P x x x

Ah! Those charming ginger kitties! Ernie is so laid back... it's frightening. He's happy (mostly) to eat whatever I put in front of him, although there was some guff over one particular brand of "healthy" stuff. He went on a bit of a hunger strike with that one.

I'm in the middle of so many unfinished projects... one Anna Bell coat (just needs buttons), one cap-sleeved cardigan... a bunch of baby stuff for friends who have kids... this scarf project that's just about killing me! I'll have to do a roundup and post pictures. I forget I even have a blog most days since my days are so much of the same nothing lately.

Hopefully next year I'll be over and we can share knitting/sewing tips in person! a xxx
